Dear You Printmaking Program for Mothers Dear You was a multi-weekend art making program held in Newark that centered mothers through storytelling, screen printing, and collective care. Participants reflected (2 weekends) on personal memories, translated them into visual designs (2 weekends), and printed their work onto fabric, then sewn into a collective quilt, serving as both a visual archive and emotional centerpiece. The program culminated in a community shoot, where the quilt was displayed and mothers gathered to share space, stories, and reflection. Photos by Alverson Layne.
