Beyond the Boroughs: Cohort 3
In the second quarter of 2025, Good Black Artβs πππ¬π’π‘π π§ππ ππ’π₯π’π¨πππ¦ β Cohort 3 brought together a diverse group of NYC-based artists, each committed to exploring identity, process, and storytelling. This initiative created a space for reflection and dialogue, fostering connections among creatives navigating the complexities of the art world.
Throughout the campaign, artists engaged in deep conversations about self-knowledge, artistic evolution, and the ever-changing landscape of creative communities. Fellowship and shared experiences shaped the cohortβs journey, offering a moment to expand perspectives on what it means to create, preserve, and reinterpret personal narratives.

Rooted in a mission to empower Black artists, Good Black Art serves as a platform, marketplace, and movement dedicated to increasing visibility, access, and economic support for Black creators. Through exhibitions, collaborations, and advocacy, the organization works to ensure that Black artistry is both celebrated and sustained in meaningful ways, fostering a more inclusive and equitable arts ecosystem.
