Drawing on a skillful fusion of printmaking, painting, and mixed media, Angela Pilgrim imbues each work with a sense of depth and dimensionality, presenting each subject as an essential living, breathing entity. Her upcoming exhibition celebrates the complex inner worlds of Black women and invites viewers to contemplate the spiritual dimensions of our existence, exploring themes of identity, faith, and resilience. Angela's art has been featured in prestigious publications such as The Creative Independent and The Getty Archives. Her work is held internationally in public and private collections, including the Newark Public Library and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Her participation in group exhibitions is noteworthy, particularly her inclusion in Black Histories, Black Futures at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA and Gadsden Museum of Art in Gadsden, AL. She currently resides in New Jersey.
